& white, sailing is supreme along both the Atlantic and the Inter-Coastal Waterway, the golf is magnificent on
numerous well groomed courses, accommodations are basic to elegant, the cuisine is varied and superb, and the
people are extremely friendly.

you are not allowed to feed them.
Airports: Hilton Head Island Airport connecting through Charlotte or Atlanta and the
nearby Savannah Jetport.

Beaches: There are approximately 19 miles of white sandy beaches mostly along the sole of the
sneaker.

Carolina at Hilton Head.
Golf Courses: There are 13 Public Courses on the Island, 15 Courses off the Island and 14 Private

Hospitals: Hilton Head Medical Center - 64 acute care beds & 15 skilled beds, plus numerous
clinics.

tide from 3' to 20'

Shopping: There are 28 shopping villages and one enclosed mall on the island.

Traffic: An average of 19,000 vehicles a day cross the bridge onto Hilton Head, so drive
